Erin Mulford

While it took half a season to make her way onto the varsity roster as a freshman, Erin Mulford's height and ability to affect the game on both ends of the floor could not be denied and from that point on there was not a night where that didn't show, all the way up to her graduation in 1993.

Mulford competed in four sports during her high school career and earned

16 varsity letters. On the basketball court, she would become among career leaders for the Lady Raiders, totaling 730 career points and 550 career rebounds while also leaving the school with three school records- one of which being a single-season record of 32 blocked shots. Erin was a two-time All-ORVC selection and was the 1993 ORVC Co-MVP after seeing junior and senior campaigns of being among conference leaders in scoring, rebounding, blocked shots, field goal percentage and free throw percentage. In addition, she would win various athletic awards at South Ripley including team MVP in three sports and was the first girls basketball player at the school to be named as a selection to the state's Top 40 Workout. She was the 1993 Ripley Publishing Excellence Award winner. During Erin's time, the green and white had a win-loss record of 44-33 which included two conference titles and a county championship.

Erin spent one season playing volleyball at the University of Cincinnati before playing volleyball and basketball for three years at DePauw University. She would star on both teams as a starter, being among leaders in kills for the volleyball program and totaling averages of seven points and six rebounds per game for the basketball team while also shooting 78 percent from the free throw line for her career. There is no denying that Erin has rightfully deserved to take her place in the hall and her numbers make her one of the area's all-time best.
